Ok so I confess, that when the rear was rebuilt and after it was all reassembled and painted someone looked around and thought I wonder what these are for. Like a Big Dummy I forgot to install the oil slingers. The bearings and seals were by Timken I believe, need to look at the receipt. What are the chances this is going to cause a big problem down the road literally. This is one of the reasons I need a test drive, I really don't want oil soaked rear brakes! Has anyone ever done this and how did it work out. If I need to disassemble and install the slingers can the bearings and seals be saved? I don't believe Timken makes these anymore.

Thanks
