Folks, the USPS has in the past week amended their shipping rates. First there is an 8% hike on all domestic services (including ground advantage). But more importantly, now any package weighing less than 1 pound is charged the rate for 15.999 ounces (essentially 1 pound). Previously there were ounce rate "steps" for 4 ounce and 8 ounce packages...those are gone.

So the new improved condenser will cost more to mail. The last two have cost me almost twice what I had been paying (even using the most discounted postage seller I can find).

Bottom line is I expect the cost to have to increase to $16 shipped but I'll be watching to see how it shakes out. There are as I understand lots of complaints about this change, but I don't expect the USPS to care much.
