I removed the old bed panel and sill today. I think I’m gonna make some new wood blocks out of some scrap 4x4 post. The threaded rod didn’t have any hardware, So a trip to Lowe’s will be needed. Long carriage bolts too. I want to hit the joint areas with a wire wheel and maybe hit with a little primer.
