Had a left front tire come off my rim on my 1950 3100 original rims. Just wondering if a liner or boot would help secure the tube from slippage? I haven't had the problem again, but I am feeling somewhat concerned as to what happen. New-like (no pits) wheels, clean and painted, new tires and tubes but no liners. Tire inflation as recommended,40 psi, front end aligned, everything new on the steering and rack. It just failed on her first drive to a car show. Advice or opinion appreciated. No car show that day.
