Hi guys- got an overhauled 1949 GMC FC102 228 engine that needs to be run and tested. Been strongly considering a reasonably priced engine run test stand for this so I can work the rest of the truck while tinkering, fine tuning,and keep the engine safely secured until Iām ready to install at a later date. Any recommendations on an engine run test stand for this 228 stovebolt? I like the Summit SUM-918015 stand (see attached photo) with its 1500 lb capacity and ability to customize the stand as needed. I don't see how this stand will work with the front engine mount however. If I was 20 years younger I might have built my own š. Thank you for recommendations.
