Please don't trash those worn shafts- - - - -I grind them to a smaller diameter and put Torrington roller bearings in the rocker arms. The shafts can also be turned upside down, new oil holes drilled, and the original oil holes blocked with pressed-in brass plugs. The shafts only wear on the bottom.
