Should be a straight thread with a tapered seat on the bottom. That's assuming it's the same as a 216ci, which it should be. I could go measure it for you on my engine sitting in the garage.
[on edit] can't get a good measurement on the port in the head, but tomorrow, I'll measure the sensor thread. It's definitely a straight thread.
