Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 4,475 Moderator, Electrical Bay | | Moderator, Electrical Bay Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 4,475 | When I swapped the torque tube rear end for a 12 bolt rear out of a 1969 Chevy half-ton truck I just used the 1969 backing plates and emergency brake setup and modified the cable connections a wee bit. That's really all it took. It worked perfectly and as I recall the 1969 backing plates might have fit on the torque tube rear. I can't guarantee this because I didn't use them but the rest of the emergency brake stuff was fine. Good luck!
