Hy Backets, welcome, all I can say for sure is in my experience I have never come across anything but steel tubing for fuel line, I have seen it in both compression and inverted flare types. When I was taking my apprenticeship, we were told not to use copper for fuel line as it would harden and eventually crack when used for gasoline transfer.
