The bumper is NOT the same as 1/2 ton. 1939 and 1940 1/2 ton bumpers are not the same as each other, but I believe they are shared with passenger models of their respective years.
The 1-1/2 ton bumper is the same from 1937 through 1940 and is the same as 1936 1-1/2 ton from bumper except for only 3 bolt holes in 1936.
