I scored a nice 60 gallon 2 cylinder Quincy compressor off Craigslist for $250. It was legit- the seller is an industrial compressor dealer and he was upgrading their back shop. It came with a spare head and oil pump- this thing is like an automotive motor. It has an actual oil pump, poppet valves, unloader system, and a Baldor motor. You can either leave the compressor motor running constantly and use the unloader to regulate pressure, or use the tank switch.
Its a horizontal unit, weighs about 400 pounds. Its going to live in the attic space of my shop if I can figure out how to hoist it up there without killing someone.
