Wolverine Bumper Company in Grand Rapids made chrome bumpers and grills for GM into the 1970s.

Maybe the W got turned upside down on the stamping machine. Hahaha.

Michigan Plating and Stamping (1955-1958) was a bumper supplier used by GM. It's former name was Michigan Bumper Company (1934-1955).

It then became Gulf and Western Corporation and then Gulf and Western Industries, which in turn became Paramount communications.
