I ordered new park brake cables from The Filling Station. They don't come with the clevis and the clevis they sell (see picture) indicates it fits the 1941-1950. Well, the ones from the factory are not slotted so you need to cut the cable to get them off. No problem scrapping the old cables, but the clevis is too narrow to fit over the ferrel crimped onto the new cable at the end as a stop for that clevis. I don't see a reason why the clevis sold on TFS would not work other than it being wider/thicker than the factory originals. I can't be sure because I don't have one and they are currently out of stock everywhere. Has anyone had this issue and what was the solution?
