Just talked to the trans shop. They are building it with the 3.76 first gear. OD is .72. We think 3.08s would be too tall for a stock 235 when it's in OD. I had a 56 Chevy 210 several years ago with the stock 235 and factory 3 speed OD. I took the 4.11s out and put a 3.70 in it and it was darn near perfect for all around driving.
