I’m getting ready to install a new gas line on my ‘52 3100 with a ‘59 235. When I removed the old line, there was a 8” section of rubber hose connecting the line to the fuel pump. I looked in the Assembly Manual and it appears that the hard line is connected directly to the pump. This doesn’t seem to make any sense to me but I figured I would pose that question to the collective.

How is your fuel line connected to the fuel pump?
