My preference is to use a single relay for each system. In my case, I have four relays, one each for the HEI, horn and two for the headlights (one for each side). I opted for two as I didn’t want the high voltage passing thru the old foot operated dimmer switch. Maybe overkill but it does work and the headlights are noticeably brighter after installing the relays. They are 60 amp aside from the horn which is the original style.
