(John here, actually) So there I was ... in the midst of heroes, 100's of school kids, community members, faculty & staff of Skyline HS ... And the big moment arrives for the kids to present the colors -- we're all called to stand for the presentation of the colors ... And I get a text. I had neglected to silence my phone. So right then, in the brief moment of silence when a hush comes over the auditorium between being called to stand and when the kids started trooping the colors ... my cell phone blares out my text alert. My volume is set at full because of my hearing loss ... The funny part is that my text alert is the bugle call for
