What a few full and patriotic days here. John did a local (Skyline High School) event yesterday that was very special. He has a funny he can share on that regarding his phone!
He took our Pastor who is former Marine Corps in the Smedley D Butler II Jeep. They were treated to a real southern breakfast (Alvin would have loved it!). When they got back home, they drove around the farm in our first snow.
What a day.
This morning, he went down the mountain .... no snow but really cold ... to the Scottsboro Legion Hall event. Lots of dignitaries at that one.
I had some old photos that I thought I'd share here. Ava is our Grand daughter ... at the time she did the drawing, I think she was about 4th grade. Now, she is a senior in high school.
