They make a blade for cutting metal, kinda pricy, around $30.00. Got the Skill type 7 1/4" with a enclosed guard. Problem was if the metal chatters at all it takes the carbide teeth right off. Cut a 4X8 sheet of 10 ga. into 3" strips without to much problem and it was quick. For the price it would have been cheaper to have it sheared. Usually a metal shop will charge by the hour for this kinda job, another problem is it has to be clean metal (no Rust). Got my blades from Lawson Products. If you want to try I can ship you a blade, give me an address. You will probally need at least a 1 1/2 hp motor on the saw and a good guard on the saw blade. Got 2 hanging on the wall, no use to me after my shop got broke in and they stole about $15.000 worth of my tools and my service truck to haul it off, got the truck back after they burnt it. Worked late that night and didn't turn the alarm on, no alarm report No Insurance.
