I'm curious about this option also. I wish mine was functional on my ‘46. My crank handle spins freely. I haven’t looked into it yet. Is it unhooked, worn badly, windshield sealed shut? I have heard that they can leak. The novelty and conversation of it being open along with improved airflow leads me to want it operable. So far I’ve haven’t had it in rain nor do I want to.
