I took a look at the $62.99 kit. It sure solves the problem of having only a small air compressor. The combination of abrasive and high pressure water would seem to be a winner for a nasty old dump box.
My only question would be how to address freshly blasted, clean steel being bathed in water.
It would instantly flash with surface rust. I guess a rust inhibiting primer might deal with it, but when I blast with the conventional air/sand combination, I do everything in my power to keep the bright metal shiny until I get some protection on it.
I wonder if the Northern Tool setup is designed for something other than steel...maybe a concrete structure or sidewalk.
