Punch, what's the casting number on your Block? It's not uncommon to have a 1936 block in a 1935 as the 35's were prone to overheating as the water jacket didn't cover the drivers side of the cylinder jugs...they fixed that for the '36 model year and from then on used the '36 as the replacement for the '35. The '35 block didn't have the baffle plate.

1936 Block = 836010
My info is based on US made parts...Canadian might be different???
