It appears he is using the "quote" feature - but somehow the title block says "Originally said by..." instead of "quote".
Right. The Quote selection in the lower right of the post you're quoting. It copies the whole post between tags, with the first as "quote=username". The software translates that as Originally Posted by username.
What I did when I quoted you was hit the Quote box, then delete the first part of your quoted post. That works as long as you don't delete the ] or { parts of the tags on either end.
