Thanks Gdads51, I did some searching windlace retainer install last night but all the hits I opened were for the seal installation. This is exactly what I need.
Eric, that's basically the way I installed sections of windlace channel. Drill some ~3/16" holes, then line up the mig gun with the hole and pull the trigger for a few seconds. I did have to grind down a little excess weld. I used a 3" cutoff wheel to accomplish that, managing to stay between the lines so to speak.
Thanks Klhansen, I don't have a whole lot to replace so hopefully won't have to deal with too many bugger welds. I think the hardest part will be me being able to see down in the channel. My eyes aren't what they used to be.
