I have a GMC first start problem. Here is what I know:
1) if I fill the Carburetor up with fuel from an empty coke bottle with a hole in the lid it will start and respond to the accelerator. Once the fuel runs out (I’m working alone), it stops.
2) the fuel line are clean and the fuel pump appears to be sucking up fuel from the gas tank but not delivering it to the carburetor even though I just replaced both the carb and fuel pump. The new equipment has resulted in the exact same issue.
Any thoughts?
