So it looks like there is a spacer on the fender that is angled to fit the curve of the fender, probably 2 one on top and one on the underside of the fender. And it looks like the jamb nut piece on the rod goes down over the unthreaded section of the rod. I guess I will have to hone that piece out and make a spacer for the lower section of the rod. also is there a long spacer up top under the long nut that tightens down over the piece that rests on the tire. I hope this makes sense when you read it
