very good points Richard, but I'll also point out that [here anyway], shopping carts do have an 'end of useful life', and if yer in the right place ones that are rusted [wet coastal climate here] beyond recall, can be obtained for free - complete rusty one in my shed for future use, and part of one under a 283 grin

for the milk crates, I use them in my biz , so can attest to their value and the enormous $$$ loss to the dairies because of 'misappropriation', but they're also available to purchase new ..... from the dairies even
