Sounds like a plan- - - - -I was considering the Bendix/Stromberg carb already. By the time I'm through tinkering, that "270" is going to be somewhere north of 300 cubic inches, with an overbore and a stroker crankshaft. I just happen to have one of those GMC 305 V6 carburetors on hand. I'm pretty sure Schneider Cams can come up with a suitable "race only" cam, as this one won't be seeing much, if any low RPM time. "Go fast- - - -turn left!" will be its primary mission! Thanks!

Edit: How would one of those carbs respond to a switch to a methanol/Hydrogen Peroxide fuel mix? My father ran 300+ cubic inch flathead Ford engines on that fuel back in the early 1950s. They had to run the carb dry between races to keep the 20% concentration Peroxide from eating the bottom of the float bowl. He was running a highly modified Zenith 2 barrel designed for a big Mack truck gas engine.
