My truck needs new front shocks. Last weekend, I went shopping.
I called the local Bumper to Bumper store and they told me the shocks were a special order and it would take 6 weeks to get them. Canadian Tire was useless as their website insists that you enter your car make and model and 1954 is too old - the website won't let you search by part #. Amazon listed the part but at an outrageous price.
I have bought parts through KMS tools CAR Parts, but you have to wait. Your parts will be included in their next cross border shipment whenever that may be.
I bought the shocks from Rock Auto. Price was good and the shocks will arrive Thursday. No tariff.
