I'm with you on the biggest bottle you can find. My son bought a "portable" oxy/acetalene unit. The portable is nice once in a while, but it wasn't long before we bought (almost) the biggest bottles we could find - new regulators also. I got the MIG later and used the same philosophy. The refill (swap-out) price is not much different. The old "Blue Wrench" is handy.
