Here's a clue. Apparently 47-48 trucks didn't have the wide spread bolts in the frame, so would have used a single point mount under the radiator support. See the attached pic from the 1929-1954 Parts Catalog with my highlights. This implies that the single point mounts were used on 47-48 trucks and 2-point mounts on 49-53 trucks. Unfortunately it doesn't shed any light on the radiator supports used on 1 ton and larger trucks.
