I added more photos. One better shows that the spring mount is in place. The other one shows my double nut scheme.
Robert, I'm looking at the upper spring hanger pin in your second picture...is it broken or just pushed through to the other side, it looks short.
Your bolts look long enough to put a jamb nut on top of the main nut if you are concerned with them backing off.
