I took a piece of 1/4" round stock and chopped off a piece about 4" long and then took another piece and welded it together to make a "T" handle and I then gently knocked it into the channel to help open it up, that worked pretty good but still tight in one spot, and I then took a "C" clamp and pulled the one slide bar over toward the door jamb and that fixed it . Slides up and down great now.
