... Oh well, it will heal. I cleaned it and bandaged it up with gauze and duct tape. When my daughter got home, she made me stop and let her clean and bandage it again because she got her first aid certification recently and told me I could not have done it more wrong if I tried.
I like the new bandage better. "Wise Owl." Couldn't have been a better choice. SHE is a Wise Owl. Good of you to let her practice on you. And probably a very good thing she didn't see it all go down. Yikes!
