87GN - There is a Deluxe windshield gasket style that uses that locking bead as part of the windshield gasket setup and IIRC the bead is chrome (part of the Deluxe cab optional stuff). Those can be found by searching most of our usual vendors. The gasket comments by lumbersawyer are accurate for the black locking strip in the back glass gasket and non-Deluxe windshield gaskets having only the top and bottom grooves.

FWIW, I think many folks recommend using a Steele Rubber Products windshield gasket as they seem to be of the best quality and fitment. Yes, more expensive, but IMHO ultimately a worthwhile expense for best sealing and long life.
