| | | | Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 1,673 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 1,673 | Getting ready to put the rear axle back together on the 54 .My question is what is used to seal the thin gasket opposite side of the rear axle cover gasket . Oh good. I was going to post a thread asking about the gaskets. I have a set of two - one thin as paper and the other thicker. I wasn't sure what side each go to, looks like the thicker gasket goes to the rear with the cover. Thanks!
