Shame for the weather but not much you can do about it but make the best, which is exactly what we did. I got there mid-day on Wednesday, after all, the Tri-state show is my closest form of an annual vacation and sadly did not bring a truck. The driving rain Wednesday morning prompted a game time decision to leave the '50 in the garage (which was loaded with the golf cart and Stovebolt Grill in the back) and just get in the camper and head west. Seems like a lot of other people made similar decisions but, I believe the total count for the whole even was 156 trucks which isn't too bad considering we had only about a half a day of sunshine. It also sounds like the show didn't do too bad as far as the money made towards the charities. So, good on everyone that showed up.
As I have said after 18 of the 20 Winchesters I have attended, I had a blast and look forward to next year. We eat, we drank, we laughed and enjoyed each other's company once again. It seems to happen too infrequently these days but I guess it makes the time we spend together even more enjoyable and memorable.
