That should be pretty straight forward, only thing to be concerned about is the actual fitting for each end. Some are a compression ferrule, some are a type of "flare" nut with the compression surface as part of the nut. Do you know if the engine has a high pressure or high volume pump, it might peg the 60 psi gauge when cold.

Yes ,if its a high volume oil pump. I`ve had one in my 327 for 5 years now and it was tested
separate at 82 psi. Pegs my original mechanical gauge out driving. No damage.
It idles at 30psi.
