The overall look of your 1941 data plate seems authentic, compared to the attached pic of a reproduction one. They were aluminum with most data painted on and weight and serial number stamped into the metal, which appears to be all that's left visible on yours. The "58" would indicate 5800 lb gross weight capacity, which corresponds with a 3/4 ton Special truck.
