AAF is the prefix for 1941 3/4 ton truck engines built at the Flint plant. The serial numbers start with 1001.

It appears from the 1941 Vehicle Info Kit LINK, that there were no 1 ton truck, just 1/2, ton, 3/4 ton and 1-1/2 ton (conventional and Cab-over-engine)
