There is a lot involved but it is possible. But from the sound of things the bearings are likely bad and it needs to be
disassembled anyway. If you want to send me a PM, I can give you some guidance.
If it is the original transmission with the 4 bolt side cover, it is a Muncie SM319, not a Saganaw.
