I've finally settled on a 250 (thanks Hotrod) for my 65 C10. It appears that the Rochester was the factory carb. But they were commonly replaced by a Carter YF back in the day, correct?

Also, is it hard to rebuild a Carter YF with a kit? i.e. Can it be done by a rank amateur? Do the kits have good clear instructions?
