Carl the studs come in two sizes (you have to change the tips) and have a slightly rounded head. So far seem to work as advertised.
You have to be careful not to hold the button too long or it will burn through the panel. Don’t ask me how I know. Pulls dents very well, even creases. As Wayne said it is definitely not an everyday tool.
