Hello, I have a 235 engine and have three different numbers I'm trying to decipher:
Pass side by starter- CON4 K187
Pass side below dist- 3738307 (I found this which says its a 58-62 235)
Stamped on flat next to distributor- FII2IJ (FYI- these are stamped with the capital I, not the number 1, so it appears the only number is 2?)
CON K(11th month-November) , 18th day, 7th year of decade/1957? Doesn't make sense as 3738307 shows to be a 58-62 block?
I'm confused. Thanks for the help
