The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Interiors Mounting 1946 windshield regulator

First, shout-out to Jim Carter Truck Parts in Independence, MO, for the quick turnaround on the windshield regulator rebuild for my 1946 Chevy half-ton.

Now, a puzzle: I found the bracket that attaches it to the windshield in a box of spare parts, but there are no threads in the windshield frame holes to screw into.

Am I missing threaded inserts? It doesn't look like I can run a bolt through to the front.
