| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 | Chevrolet always painted the engines after final assembly, so unless it had special aluminum valve covers they were painted at the same time and color as the rest of the engine. The 1965 230 truck engines were Blue, the cars were Orange. Mike B  | | |
