Dallas (if you haven't heard) is a real mess. All rivers have flooded and are finally going back down somewhat, we're something like 9 inches over average year to date rainfall, trees (large ones) have been blown over and/or completely uprooted and we need air traffic controllers for the mosquitoes around here. In the 50+ years I've lived here I haven't seen this much of a widespread disaster. Our neighborhood was without power for 16 hours and we were one of the lucky ones...some lost power for 4 days.
