A buddy of mine asked me to look at his ‘63 Chevy C20 with a 230, three speed on the column and a Rochester B single bbl carb installed. He had a issue with the throttle getting stuck and found a spring attached to the linkage that one end was broken off. He asked if he could pick one up at the hardware store and I couldn’t find how it was attached to the linkage. The spring he had, seemed too heavy for a throttle return. I can’t find a diagram or picture of how this spring is attached nor a source to buy one.
Can one of our ‘Bolters show me a diagram from the Assembly Manual or a good picture of how it is setup and what he needs, that would be great.
