I used local to me ‘Auto & Truck Bumper’ in Hayward Ca, (San Francisco area), did my 46 grill, needed some straightening and welding and price reasonable. Is holding up well so far. They have a 46 chev truck on their business card and he called out my grill straight away…. IIRC under 1k in ‘22. I did tell him after he gave me the quote that he call me if they needed to do more than expected, as “ well, we could have…” was not going to be acceptable….
I’m pretty sure their production shop is out in the valley, the Bay Area greenies don’t tolerate plating shops… Chuck
