The casting number on the differential carrier "3682126" cross references to GM Part# 3682125. That carrier number was used for 1946-52 3600 and 3800 Chevy rear axle differentials and similar GMC 150 and 250 Models. To identify the actual axle details, please provide the stamped identification letters/numbers located along the top center of the carrier as shown in the attached 1954 Shop manual picture. That info will help to further identify the axle.
